Opis muzeum :
The Slovak Customs Museum is situated in the historical building of the former customs office on the Old Bridge in the central part of the capital city Bratislava.
The exhibition of the Customs Museum covers the following areas: customs history since 904 AD in the area of the current Slovak Republic, customs history of the Austrian–Hungarian Monarchy, the Czechoslovakian Republic, the Slovak Republic (1939 – 1945), the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic and the Slovak Republic (1993 – until now). The visitors also get information about many struggles on the Czechoslovak borders and the members of the Financial Guard who died on our borders before the Second World War and in the Slovak National Uprising in 1944.
